Rebranding: your expertise has grown, your image needs to catch up.

A rebrand decides what still holds up and what doesn't.

Your identity dates back to your launch. Your clients, your rates and the way you work have changed since. We bring your image up to your current level, without erasing what people recognize about you.

What happens when your image stays behind

Your rates have changed, your image hasn't

You charge far more today than when you started. Your clients are bigger, your projects more serious. Your logo, though, comes from your first few months in business, when you had to move fast and spend little. A prospect looks at your image before they look at your quote. They do the math on their own: the image promises one price, the quote promises another.

You've stopped sending your own materials

You have a brochure somewhere, but you don't send it anymore. You'd rather write a good email, or nothing at all. When a client asks for your logo in good quality, you dig through your folders and send whatever you find. That's the real tell: when you avoid showing your own identity, it's because it no longer stands up for the work you do today.

Every material tells a different story

The website doesn't share the same colors as your social channels. Your slides still use a font picked two years ago. Your proposal has its own style, because it was thrown together one Sunday evening in a hurry. Taken one at a time, no material is a failure. Lined up together, they feel like three different companies. Your client doesn't put it into words, but they feel it.

You keep putting it off, afraid of breaking what works

Your clients recognize you. Some identify you by a color, a shape, a way of talking. You know the image has aged, but you keep putting it off, because a botched rebrand erases what worked. That's the right worry to have. A rebrand isn't a replacement: it's a sort. We keep what identifies you, we change what works against you, and you know why behind every decision.

What you're left holding at the end

The audit comes first, the rollout plan last: each deliverable builds on the one before it, and you receive them in that order.

Audit of your existing identity

We go through everything that carries your name today: logo, colors, typefaces, website, sales documents, social channels. We note what holds up, what's aged, and what only exists as a single copy lost in a folder.

What stays, what changes, and why

A document of decisions, element by element. Each one is classified: kept, adjusted or replaced, with the reason in one sentence. You know exactly what's changing before anything actually changes.

New brand style guide

The document that locks in your identity's rules: colors and their exact codes, typefaces and their uses, sizes, spacing, what you do and what you don't. It's the document you hand to your providers.

Rollout plan

The order in which the new identity gets applied: where to start, what can wait, what needs to change the same day. You don't have to redo everything at once, you know which order to move in.

From signature to rollout plan

  1. 01

    Signature

You sign the quote online and pay the deposit. The project starts.

  2. 02

    Audit

We go through everything that carries your name, and we listen to what you actually care about keeping.

  3. 03

    The sort

We show you what we're keeping and what we're changing, with the reason behind every decision. We move forward once you approve.

  4. 04

    Guide and rollout

You receive the brand style guide and the rollout plan: where to start, in what order.

You approve what we keep before we touchanything at all.

Reviews translated from the original French.

A huge thank you to Matthis for the redesign of the DALINA CONSEIL website. Beyond the expertise, what struck me was how he listened, how invested he was, and how deeply he understood my world and my ambitions. A true professional, driven and involved. I recommend him without reservation.

Cynthia Gando

Founder, Dalina Conseil

I recommend Matthis for his expertise, his professionalism and his good humor! A result that meets my needs perfectly, with a real understanding and translation of my brand world. All while adapting to what I needed in terms of managing and running the site on my own. A partner you can trust if you're an entrepreneur who wants a site that looks like you, not a template!

Cindy Boujema

Founder, QualiCie

We're very happy with the work done on our website. Matthis understood our brief, paid attention to detail and matched our expectations precisely. The result is professional, clear and exactly what we wanted.

I had the luck of handing Matthis the full redesign of my website, and I can only recommend him. What I valued most was the way he works: he listens, he anticipates, he brings ideas, and he stays focused on what the project is really for. Thank you Matthis for your professionalism and your judgement.

Logo, visual identity, brand style guide, art direction: what's the difference?

These four words get used for each other constantly. They don't mean the same thing, and knowing which one you're after changes what you ask for.

The difference between logo, visual identity, brand style guide and art direction
The wordWhat it means
LogoThe mark. What people recognize at a glance.
Visual identityThe complete system around the logo. Colors, typefaces, iconography, layout.
Brand style guideThe document that locks in these rules, so everything stays consistent over time and across every material.
Art directionThe point of view that gives the whole thing its character.

Your questions about rebranding

Logo, visual identity, brand style guide, art direction: what's the difference?

The logo is the mark: what people recognize at a glance. Visual identity is the complete system around the logo: colors, typefaces, iconography, layout. The brand style guide is the document that locks in these rules, so everything stays consistent over time and across every material. Art direction is the point of view that gives the whole thing its character.

Will I lose what my clients recognize about me?

No, not if the rebrand follows this order. We start by identifying what your clients associate with you: a color, a shape, a word, a way of laying things out. Those elements get protected, and we work around them. Everything else changes. You stay recognizable, with an image that finally matches where you are today.

Do I need to redo the website at the same time?

Not necessarily. The brand style guide exists independently of the site: it also serves your documents, your slides and your social channels. That said, the site is usually the most-seen material, so it often ends up near the top of the rollout plan. We decide together based on what gets the most eyes on your business.

What if I want to keep my logo?

That's possible, and it's common. A logo can hold up perfectly well while everything else has aged: the colors, the typefaces, the layout. The audit answers this question first. If your logo holds up, we keep it and rebuild the system around it.

Do I have to change everything at once?

No, and that's exactly the point of the rollout plan. Some materials change right away because they're seen every day. Others wait for their next update. You move at your own pace, without going through a stretch where your image is half old and half new, with no logic to it.

What's the budget for a rebrand?

The budget depends on the scope: what already exists, what we keep, the number of materials to redo. We give you the amount during a first conversation, once we've looked at your current identity together.

Your image, at the level of your expertise.

We look at your current identity together, 40 minutes, no strings attached.
